Hey there!  My name is MaryMargaret.  I’m a wife, mom, grandma, and slave to Sookie the basset hound.  I’ve always loved crafting, making, and sewing.

I began quilting 15 years ago, took classes, and joined a guild.  I pursued traditional machine piecing, embroidery and even art quilts.  A few years ago, I joined a modern “quilt-along” on the internet and got hooked.  The modern movement was underway and I wanted to be part of it.  I finally found my passion.

I eventually found the Dallas Modern Quilt Guild (or it found me at another guild and invited us to their retreat).  I signed up and loved the friendly members.  I visited their meetings, and the rest is history.  DMQG show and tell is always inspiring, and speakers and programs always teach me something new.

I created this blog to help document current works in progress and future projects with pictures and stories.   I hope I don’t bore anyone to tears.
